Adams! It's fun to read about your experiences in the north. How's the desert?? hahaha.. It's so green in the south right now... but we don't have camels....

Yardley, Shen and Risa were here for the 4th. Glad you had company, too. Sure miss you guys! Say hi for me next time you see Patrice and Josh.
Will you make it to Koudougou in August?

Guess what?

Burkina Faso may star in the LONDON INVESTIGATION of the latest Metro Massacre!

http://debka.com/article.php?aid=1056

Turns out that Al Qaeda is workgin with the Tuareg (the men with blue scarfs) who travel in your area:

"...These tribesmen have many uses for the fundamentalist terrorists.

1. They range across seven African countries: Algeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, northern Benin, large parts of Niger, Nigeria and Mauritania. Al Qaeda operatives traveling with the Tuareg have access to terrorists and smugglers away from prying eyes. In all these places, except for Algeria, security is lax. "...

So look out for MEN IN BLUE!!!

Just realized i haven't let you hear from me. We're thinking of you man, and it's always good to know you haven't killed yourself through general craziness or been burned as a heretic by the local populus like I was afraid you would have by now.

Possible good news down the road for Burkina Faso.
The recent picture campaign of NIGER FAMINE has moved a few kindered souls around the world and there are signs that there will be some concerted effort to help Niger.
Chances are that Burkina Faso and the other nighbors will not be far behind.
When, how much and how much will sift down to the People themselves is a big question.
Just was in the news and I thought I will share
